Ahoy! Cleveland’s lakefront will be home to the stunning Cleveland Tall Ships Festival for the latest 2022 season. This is a must-see summer festival that is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors on Lake Erie.
The stop in Cleveland, Ohio serves as the second host port of the TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® Great Lakes 2022 race series. The fleet of historic tall ships from harbors through the United States, Canada and Spain will visit Cleveland from July 7 – 10, 2022.
This Festival gives visitors the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in our nation’s rich maritime history while aboard a fleet of tall ships. The grand fleet will be docked near the north side of FirstEnergy Stadium and feature 7 replica and restored ships. In addition, the crew is proud to welcome Cleveland maritime attractions to the 2022 festival.

The Cleveland Tall Ships Festival will kick off on Thursday, July 7th and run through Sunday, July 10th. The event begins with a dramatic Parade of Sail on Thursday evening and features a display of eight traditionally rigged sailing vessels from Canada, the United States and Spain crewed, in part, by youth (ages 13 – 25).
