Las Vegas is known for the famed Bellagio fountains, but they came to a full stop today due to an unexpected visitor.
A special duck landed and started floating around the popular fountain attraction, causing Casino staff to suspend the musical performances until the duck could be rescued.
“Fun environment reporter moment: This little guy is a rare yellow-billed loon, a migratory bird that has made his home in the Bellagio fountains after a pit stop at the Henderson Bird Preserve,” one person shared on social media.
The fountains are now back open and the bird is doing fine.
